"Kelingking Beach is stunning, but the path down to the beach can be quite challenging, so wear proper footwear and be prepared for a steep descent. Once you reach the beach, explore the hidden caves and coves for a truly adventurous experience, but remember to respect the natural beauty of this place by leaving nothing behind."
Looking for some Nusa Penida tours that offer some incredible natural sights? The Kelingking Beach is the perfect thing for nature lovers, and those who want an Instagrammable spot since this picturesque beach lends itself to some amazing photos.
Don't let the intensive hike to Kelingking Beach itself put you off, as it's an amazing spot to visit when in Bali!
Where is Kelingking beach? Kelingking beach is located on the southwest coast of the beautiful island Nusa Penida and it is by far the biggest attraction there. This place has been nicknamed T-rex by the shape of the rocks in which you can, with some imagination, see a dinosaur.
To reach the beach you have to go down a steep path along the rocks but...this is a pretty intensive hike and is not for the faint hearted! ;)
When planning your tours in Bali don't forget to visit Kelingking Beach Nusa Penida.
Let us show you the Nusa Penida Legendary Spots with this full-day, private tour. This jam-packed Bali tour takes you to all the best spots on this stunning island, including Broken Cliff, Kelingking Cliff, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Bay. This is an all-inclusive trip, so you won't have to worry about a thing. Enjoy a delicious lunch, swim at the beautiful beaches and take home unforgettable memories.
How to get there: From Sanur harbour you can take a fast boat and in no more than 45 minutes you arrive at Nusa Penida! From there a driver will pick you up and bring you to the infamous Kelingking viewpoint.
To get to the beach, you will need to hike down the cliff. It will take you around 45 min up to an hour to get to the beach. Keep in mind, the real challenge is getting back up! Depending on your fitness level, it will take 2 or even 3 hours! But don't let this scare you, because once you've made it, you will be rewarded with a pretty much empty beach, white sand and clear blue water!
Best photo spot at Kelingking vieuwpoint:
For those who are not fond of intensive hikes, don't worry because the real beauty can be found at the top of Kelingking viewpoint, jaw dropping view included! This will also be the best spot to get the money shot! We also recommend staying for sunset, that's when the real magic happens!
